How to make it

  • Combine the first six ingredients in saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat THEN add the soy sauce and butter.
  • Best when made right before using.
  • I have used this on pork and chicken and it is yummy! I brushed (every 10 mins or so) it on chicken legs that were on the grill over medium, indirect heat coals. Cooked for about an hour. DELICIOUS!
  • The sauce is quite intense in it's independent state, but morphs into perfection with the heat. Definitely worth trying as a change of pace from other bbq sauces.
