How to make it

  • mash enough berries to make one cup
  • add sugar, corn starch, water, and crushed berries to a saucepan, stir constantly until it boils, boil one minute
  • add food colouring
  • cool
  • Beat cream cheese until smooth, spread across bottom of pie crust
  • fill the shell with the remaining berries and pour the cooled mixture over them.
  • Chill for at least 3 hours before serving
