Ingredients

How to make it

  • Set the Heat on the Smoker to equate to about 250 degrees
  • Marinade the Chopped Red and Green Peppers in the mixture of Soy and Brown Sugar for 2 hours.
  • Cut the stems off of the Jalapenos, slice in 1/2 and seed the peppers.
  • Mix the softened Cream Cheese and the drained, marinated sweet peppers in a freezer bag and cut a 1/2" portion from the bottom corner of the bag to use as a pastry bag.
  • Fill the Jalapeno halves with the cream cheese mixture and put the halves back together.
  • Wrap a 1/2 slice of bacon around the Jalapeno and insert a toothpick into to hold together
  • Mix your Dry Seasonings together and sprinkle lightly onto the Poppers.
  • Smoke until the Bacon is done (Approx 2 hours for me)
  • Please use caution if you are not using indirect heat, the bacon drippings will catch fire.
