Sausage And Potato Casserole Recipe
This casserole is a easy and inexpensive dish that is such a hit with everyone in the family. Great with a garden salad.

Ingredients
  • 6 large russet potatoes, peeled and sliced in medium thick slices
  • 1 pound smoke sausage, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, cored, seeds removed,and slice
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • salt to taste

Directions
  1. Place potatoes in large pot and cover with water.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook 10 minutes
  3. Drain potatoes.
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  5. In a large skillet, saute onions, celery, bell pepper, and sausage in butter until vegetables are tender.
  6. Place potatoes in casserole dish.
  7. Add sausage mixture and stir well.
  8. Stir in milk and season with salt and pepper.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
