Asian Glazed Barbeque Chicken Recipe
This is an easy favorite of ours. You may skin the chicken before marinating, and it still tastes great.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce (if desired)
  • 2 teaspoons grated ginger (or 1/2 teaspoon dry)
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
  • 3-4 pound frying chicken cut in eight pieces

Directions
  1. In a small bowl combine all ingredients except chicken. Mix well.
  2. Place chicken pieces in a large resealable plastic storage bag.
  3. Pour marinade over chicken.
  4. Marinate 1-8 hours in fridge. Turn several times.
  5. Reserve some marinade for basting.
  6. Heat grill to medium. Grill chicken 4-6 inches from coals if using charcoal. Cook 15-20 minutes until fork tender, and juices run clear, turning and brushing several times with reserved marinade
  7. Disgard any remaining marinade.
  8. Oven Directions:
  9. Place chicken in a sprayed 15x10x1 inch baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 35-45 minutes, until chicken is done, turning and brushing several times with reserved marinade.
