Asian Glazed Barbeque Chicken

- 1/4 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 2 tablespoons honey shopping list
- 1 tablespoon oil shopping list
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil shopping list
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce (if desired) shopping list
- 2 teaspoons grated ginger (or 1/2 teaspoon dry) shopping list
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel shopping list
- 3-4 pound frying chicken cut in eight pieces shopping list
How to make it
- In a small bowl combine all ingredients except chicken. Mix well.
- Place chicken pieces in a large resealable plastic storage bag.
- Pour marinade over chicken.
- Marinate 1-8 hours in fridge. Turn several times.
- Reserve some marinade for basting.
- Heat grill to medium. Grill chicken 4-6 inches from coals if using charcoal. Cook 15-20 minutes until fork tender, and juices run clear, turning and brushing several times with reserved marinade
- Disgard any remaining marinade.
- Oven Directions:
- Place chicken in a sprayed 15x10x1 inch baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 35-45 minutes, until chicken is done, turning and brushing several times with reserved marinade.
