Asian Glazed Barbeque Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup water

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon oil

2 teaspoons sesame oil

1 tablespoon fish sauce (if desired)

2 teaspoons grated ginger (or 1/2 teaspoon dry)

2 teaspoons grated lemon peel

3-4 pound frying chicken cut in eight pieces

Directions

In a small bowl combine all ingredients except chicken. Mix well.

Place chicken pieces in a large resealable plastic storage bag.

Pour marinade over chicken.

Marinate 1-8 hours in fridge. Turn several times.

Reserve some marinade for basting.

Heat grill to medium. Grill chicken 4-6 inches from coals if using charcoal. Cook 15-20 minutes until fork tender, and juices run clear, turning and brushing several times with reserved marinade

Disgard any remaining marinade.

Oven Directions:

Place chicken in a sprayed 15x10x1 inch baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 35-45 minutes, until chicken is done, turning and brushing several times with reserved marinade.
