How to make it

  • Put sugar, cream, and butter in saucepan.
  • Boil with as little stirring as possible util it reaches the soft-ball stage - 235-240 degrees, or when a small amount is dropped into cold water it forms a soft ball.
  • Remove from heat and add nuts and vanilla.
  • Stir until creamy, pour into greased muffin tins.
  • Let cool.
