Fourth Of July Party Trifle Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups boiling water

2 pkg (4-serving size each) Berry Blue Flavor Gelatin

1 1/2 cups cold water

1 pkg. (10.75 oz) frozen pound cake, thawed, cubed

1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed

2 cups halved fresh strawberries

Directions

Stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Pour into 13x9-inch pan. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. (I will do this the night before next time)

Cut gelatin into 1/2-inch cubes. place in 3 1/2-quart serving bowl. Cover with layers of cake cubes, half of the whipped topping and the strawberries. Top with remaining whipped topping.

Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
