How to make it

  • heat canola oil in a lg saucepan over med-high heat and add chopped onion and chopped garlic.
  • cook, stirring until translucent, about 2 minutes.
  • transfer to med bowland add the rest of the ingredients. mix well and let cool to room temp.
  • pour cooled marinade into a shallow baking dish or sealable bag for 1 to 2 lbs of meat.
