How to make it

  • Combine the coffee granules and the water.
  • stir until the granules are dissolved...... set aside
  • combine the sugar, milk, and butter in a large saucepan
  • cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil, stirring constantly
  • boil 10 minutes.... stirring constantly.... remove from heat after the 10 minutes
  • add chocolate morsels and the marshmallow cream... stirring until melted
  • stir in coffee mixture, pecans, orange rind and the orange and brandy extracts ... mix well
  • spread mixture evenly in a well buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan
  • cover and chill.
  • cut into squares
  • store in refrigerator
  • yields : 2 3/4 pounds
