wonderful if you like the licorice taste of Sambuca and dark chocolate. great easy dessert for dinner parties.

Ingredients
  • 1 prepared pound cake (to save time)
  • 3 oz. Sambuca
  • 1/2 pint strawberries (halved or sliced)
  • 2 tsp plus 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • chocolate syrup
  • 1 bar of good quality dark bittersweet chocolate

Directions
  1. place 2" slices of the poundcake on dessert plates and douse with Sambuca.
  2. slice berries and sprinkle with sugar (toss and reserve)
  3. beat whipping cream, sweetened with 2 tbsp sugar until soft peaks form.
  4. top cake with berries and drizzle, zig-zag chocoalte syrup over top.
  5. top with whipping cream and shave dark chocolate on the top.
