Quick Creamy Chicken Noodle Recipe
Ok, we don't always have time to cook but we can make sure that what we cook is great! This soup is not only easy but so satisfying and delicious. Try it with your favorite salad and don't forget the homemade bread!

Ingredients
  • 1 precooked deli roasted chicken, skin and bones removes
  • 2 cups cooked broad egg noodles
  • 1 bag frozen or canned mixed vegetables
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup sliced green onions
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun spice
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • salt and cracked black pepper to taste

Directions
  1. In large pan, saute onions and celery in butter.
  2. Stir in broth and bring to a boil.
  3. Add chicken and vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in soup, noodles, and spices.
  5. Add green onions, lower heat to med./low, cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes..
  6. Serve with fresh made croutons or a slice of hot French or Italian bread!

Oh, this sounds delicious! Definitely saving this one to make when it gets cooler. (I'd need to take out the butter, though) Wonder if you could just throw in the noodles uncooked & have them cook in the soup? That would make it even easier.
