Super Shrimp Creole

- 1-1 1/2 lbs. of cleaned (shelled and deviened) shrimp. Try to use fresh shrimp instead of pre cooked frozen shopping list
- 2 minced garlic cloves or 1 full teaspoon of garlic powder shopping list
- 1 stick of butter and 3 tbsp. shopping list
- salt (to taste) at least a teaspoon shopping list
- pepper (to taste) at least 1/2 teaspoon or more if you like it hot shopping list
- 1 teaspoon paprika shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary shopping list
- 1 large bell pepper chopped shopping list
- 1 large tomato diced shopping list
- 1 large onion chopped shopping list
- 24 oz canned tomatoes (give or take a few ounces it does not have to be exact) shopping list
- 2-3 cups of hot cooked rice shopping list
How to make it
- Cook up 2-3 cups of rice and set aside.
- Saute the shrimp in 3 tbsp. of butter just until pink drain extra juice and set aside(don't overcook or they will be rubbery!)
- In a seperate pan melt 1 stick of butter and add onion and bell pepper saute aprox. 5 minutes
- Add garlic, salt, pepper, paprika and rosemary continue to saute until onion and bell peppers are tender (about 5-7 minutes)
- Add all tomatoes,bring to boil,reduce and simmer for 15 minutes
- Add shrimp, stir and serve over rice. Yum!
