How to make it

  • Melt butter and stir in cornstarch quickly. Whisk in milk gradually and cook until thickened. Season. Then stir in well all but 3/4 cup of the cheese; mix thoroughly.
  • Pour drained macaroni into a large bowl, then pour cheese sauce over macaroni and mix well. Pour into large buttered baking dish (the extra butter won't're using skim milk, it's DIET).
  • Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake about 45 minutes at 375.
  • NOTE: Yes, it is a lot of cheese. We like our mac & cheese just like our humor around here....cheesey.
