My Moms Pound Cake Recipe
This cake is the first thing I look for when I visit my Mom. It's simply delicious anytime of day. Best when right out of the oven. The crust and crumbs are my most absolute favorite part.

Ingredients
  • 3 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of Crisco
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 1/2 tsp. of salt

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325
  2. Mix sugar, butter and crisco
  3. Add eggs, milk, vanilla, flour, and salt
  4. Blend well
  5. Pour into greased Bundt Pan
  6. Bake at 325 for 1 1/2 hours.
  7. Eat immediatley and be careful not to burn your fingers!
