This is Grandma's frosting that we used on her cream sugar cookies....(gotta find that one!) It hardens up nicely to make a glaze on top of the cookies.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup castor sugar
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1 tsp vanilla (and a drop or two more!! or use real lemon essence)
  • 1/4 cup boiling water

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and beat quickly and hard until everything is combined.
  2. Use immedeately
