How to make it

  • heat oil in large sauce pan. add onion and garlic and saute till translucent. add wine. add tomato's. add salt and sugar. rub basil with hands and add to sauce. simmer on medium till slight boil. add sausage and turn heat low. stir occasionally until thickened. taste during cooking and add more basil if required. serve with spaghetti or spaghettini. garlic bread is a nice touch with this.
