How to make it

  • Place the onion, apple, sultanas, tomatoes, garlic, cloves, mustard seeds, sugar, vinegar and salt in a large saucepan over med. heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Bring to a boil and cook for 40-45 mins. or until thickened. Carefully spoon the hot pickle into sterilised jars.
  • Let the jars sit for a couple of weeks to allow the flavours to infuse and intensify.
