Salt Lick Restaurant Peach Cobbler

- 1/2 cup butter, melted shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1 cup white sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2/3 cup milk, room temperature shopping list
- 1 egg at room temperature shopping list
- FILLING shopping list
- 1-28 ounce can sliced peaches, drained shopping list
- 1 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
How to make it
- In a 9 X 13 pan, melt butter
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt
- Stir in milk and egg, mix to combine
- Pour evenly over melted butter
- In another bowl, combine peaches, sugar and spices
- Spread this over batter
- DO NOT STIR
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 35-45 minutes OR
- Until batter comes to the top and is golden brown
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream
