How to make it

  • Cook chicken breast on top of stove covered with a little water until done. (You could also used boiled chicken or canned chicken, if you like)
  • Mix chicken, cream of chicken, and sour cream together and pour in casserole dish.
  • Top with crushed ritz crackers
  • Add several pats of butter
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Bake for about 25 minutes or until bubbly.

    This casserole is so good, surely comfort food. You've got to add Lawry's seasoning salt (1 tablespoon) to the sour cream mix. It is a secret ingredient (secret no more) and it will take the dish to another level.

    I made this tonight and it was just delicious. I had some fresh organic cauliflower, broccoli and carrots and steamed those for a side dish. (Sinfully, we drizzled Marzetti's slaw dressing on those vegetables, YUMMO!). Mashed potatoes completed this really comforting Sunday dinner. Thanks so much for sharing.
