I used 6 chicken tenders, cut them up in bite size pieces and threw them into a bowl raw. I used only about 1/2 cup sour cream but I did use the entire can of cream of chicken soup. I've seen this recipe in "community" cookbooks for years and it often includes poppy seeds. So, I used about 1 tsp. mixed in with the chicken and one tsp. with the crackers. Just FYI, I love salt, but because of the Ritz, I decided not to salt the chicken, and it did not need it. I did use pepper. Like Henrie, I thought about adding the veggies to the chicken mixture initially, but decided not to and am really glad I didn't. I baked this at 350 for 45 minutes.

I made this tonight and it was just delicious. I had some fresh organic cauliflower, broccoli and carrots and steamed those for a side dish. (Sinfully, we drizzled Marzetti's slaw dressing on those vegetables, YUMMO!). Mashed potatoes completed this really comforting Sunday dinner. Thanks so much for sharing.
