Thanks to my friend Lor who posted this wonderful recipe for me. They were really delicious and I used them in a wonderfull chocolate cake that I will post so soon!!

melting chocolate
sift flour
cream butter and add
add sugar
add melted chocolate
add milk
egg
mix well
add dry ingred.
wrap in wax paper
roll the dough
cut

Thanks, Ahmed. That was nice of you to do and I'm so glad that you made them! They look a little light in color but they look great for wafers! I added one more picture from the recipe I sent you to show you how the original icebox cake was layered. (They made it like a log like a buche noel cake. ) When cut, it resembles a multi-layered cake with a whipped cream filling. Thank you again!

OMG these are truly my favorite cookie EVER! My Mom used to make something called ice box dessert and it was our families favorite dessert and a treat cause those store bought ones cost a lot of money. I was searching your stuff so I could make chocolate cake and frosting now I am reconsidering..... You are my baking reference!!!
