CABBAGE AND NOODLES

- LARGE HEAD OF cabbage SLICED THIN shopping list
- 1 STICK OF butter shopping list
- 16 OZ egg noodles shopping list
- 1 red onion JULIENNED shopping list
- 1 RING kielbasa shopping list
- garlic pepper TO TASTE shopping list
How to make it
- MELT BUTTER IN LARGE PAN, ADD CABBAGE AND COOK UNTIL LIMP AND JUST BEGINNING TO BROWN.
- ADD ONIONS ABOUT HALF WAY ON THE CABBAGE.
- COOK KIELBASA TO YOUR PREFERENCE, I USUALLY BOIL IT.
- COOK NOODLES AS DIRECTED AND DRAIN WELL.
- WHEN KIELBASA IS DONE, SLICE INTO BITE SIZE PIECES.
- ADD ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER, ALONG WITH GARLIC PEPPER AND HEAT FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES TO ALLOW THE FLAVORS TO MIX TOGETHER.
- DURING LENT WE OMIT THE MEAT OR SOMETIMES JUST MAKE THE CABBAGE AND NOODLE ALONE. WHATEVER YOU PREFER.
