How to make it

  • MELT BUTTER IN LARGE PAN, ADD CABBAGE AND COOK UNTIL LIMP AND JUST BEGINNING TO BROWN.
  • ADD ONIONS ABOUT HALF WAY ON THE CABBAGE.
  • COOK KIELBASA TO YOUR PREFERENCE, I USUALLY BOIL IT.
  • COOK NOODLES AS DIRECTED AND DRAIN WELL.
  • WHEN KIELBASA IS DONE, SLICE INTO BITE SIZE PIECES.
  • ADD ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER, ALONG WITH GARLIC PEPPER AND HEAT FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES TO ALLOW THE FLAVORS TO MIX TOGETHER.
  • DURING LENT WE OMIT THE MEAT OR SOMETIMES JUST MAKE THE CABBAGE AND NOODLE ALONE. WHATEVER YOU PREFER.
