Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomato
  • 1 cup bar be cue sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded yellow cheese
  • 1 can biscuits, "Big and Flaky" style

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large skillet cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until meat is browned; stirring frequently. Add salt and pepper.
  2. Stir in tomatoes and allow to cook for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Stir in bar be cue sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Transfer beef mixture to an 8" x 8" baking pan or similar sized casserole dish.
  5. Top beef with shredded cheese.
  6. Arrange biscuits on top.
  7. Bake 15-18 minutes (or according to biscuit can's baking directions)
  8. *This recipe is very versatile. If bar be cue is not your flavor of choice, for an Italian flavor use your favorite spaghetti sauce instead. Add Italian seasonings along with the salt and pepper. Use different types of cheese. You could even make it a Mexican dish with different tomatoes, sauces and spices. However you decide to change it, it always comes out delicious!
