How to make it

  • Mix ingredients together and heat over low heat until barely simmering.
  • Add your favorite grilled bratwurst and you can hold the sausages indefinitely without any ill effect to the sausages.
  • They stay moist and don't dry out, plus they pick up a great flavor in the "pool".

    What a great tip! I usually add a bit of hot water to a pan & wrap it in foil, then stick in 200 degree oven to keep until served. Your way looks much, much more flavorful! Thanks!
