Perfect for keeping an already grilled bratwurst warm and savory. Great for the late arriving guests or if you want to grill ahead.

Ingredients
  • 2 16 ounce cans of cola
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 3 tbsp of catsup
  • 3 tbsp of mustard
  • 3/4 cup of finely chopped fresh onion
  • 12 to 16 grilled bratwurst (Johnsonville our favorite)

Directions
  1. Mix ingredients together and heat over low heat until barely simmering.
  2. Add your favorite grilled bratwurst and you can hold the sausages indefinitely without any ill effect to the sausages.
  3. They stay moist and don't dry out, plus they pick up a great flavor in the "pool".

What a great tip! I usually add a bit of hot water to a pan & wrap it in foil, then stick in 200 degree oven to keep until served. Your way looks much, much more flavorful! Thanks!
