Cornmeal Pancakes With Applesauce

- 1 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup cornmeal shopping list
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 slightly beaten eggs shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cooking oil shopping list
- Nonstick spray coating shopping list
- 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce shopping list
How to make it
- Stir together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, apple pie spice and salt.
- In small mixing bowl combine eggs, milk and oil.
- Add all at once to flour mixture and stir just until blended but still slightly lumpy.
- Spray a griddle with nonstick spray coating then preheat griddle over medium heat.
- For each pancake pour about 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle then cook 2 minutes per side.
- In small saucepan heat applesauce until warm then serve with pancakes.
