Ingredients

How to make it

  • Stir together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, apple pie spice and salt.
  • In small mixing bowl combine eggs, milk and oil.
  • Add all at once to flour mixture and stir just until blended but still slightly lumpy.
  • Spray a griddle with nonstick spray coating then preheat griddle over medium heat.
  • For each pancake pour about 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle then cook 2 minutes per side.
  • In small saucepan heat applesauce until warm then serve with pancakes.

    I love corn meal as a texture in food. I will try these for sure. The warm apple sauce will be a great combo for this.
