Now I thought this was a bit different.from etter Homes and gardens ..so I tried it and liked it. Many uses. See what you can do with it. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 cups water
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 to 4 sprigs fresh tarragon, slightly crushed

Directions
  1. Chill: up to 2 weeks
  2. Cool: 1 hour
  3. Stand: 1 hour
  4. ===================
  5. In saucepan combine water and sugar. Bring to boiling over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
  6. Add tarragon; boil gently, uncovered, 2 minutes more.
  7. Remove from heat, cover, and cool in saucepan 1 hour. Strain; discard tarragon.
  8. Transfer syrup to covered storage container. Refrigerate up to 2 weeks. Makes 2 cups syrup (16, 2-tablespoon servings).

Organic Tarragon Syrup wow I can think of many uses.
Tarragon has a liquorish flavor and it would be nice with grated ginger over Vanilla ice cream


I can also think of many uses for this fantastic syrup.
