Ingredients

How to make it

  • Divide the mint leaves in 2 tall glasses. Do not dice or cut them. Add the sugar ( 3 teaspoons in each glass or more... according to your taste) and divide Angostura bitter (you can find it at local supermarket). You will need a wooden crusher - if you do not have one use a honey spreader - this is what I use - and bruise that mint. Mix it up until sugar melts. Add the lemon juice and the rum and fill halfway the glass with ice. Add soda club/carbonated mineral water to fill the glass. Give it a whirl and enjoy!

I have never had a mojito, though I have heard from so many how good they are - your recipe has inspired me to try my hand at it...it sounds so refreshing and light, with the hint of mint. Thank you!
