This was my moms fish chowder recipe that has been passed down.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Chopped onion
- 1/4 cup Oleo
- 4 Cups Peeled and dried potatoes
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Basil
- 2 cups water
- 1 Pound clams, cod, torsk, or Haddock (cut in cubes)
- 1 can whole kernel mexican corn
- 1 tall can evaporated milk
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together in large pot.
- Simmer for 1 hour.

Sorry yes, it should have said Oleo which was margarine but we also use butter. It's pretty basic but I am going to try to use this as a place to organize all of the family recipes.
