Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened

1 cup white flour

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 egg

1 tsp grated orange zest

2 tbs orange juice

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

2 cups chopped cranberries

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Frosting

1/2 tsp. grated orange zest

3 tbs. orange juice

1 1/2 cup powdered sugar.

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrease

cream together butter, white and brown sugar untill smooth, beat in egg, mix in orange juice, and zest. add flour, baking soda, and salt. mix well, fold in cranberries and nuts.

drop by rounded spoonfull onto ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.

cook 12-14 minutes, and cool on wire racks.

while cookies are cooling mix frosting, beat orange zest, orange juice and posdered sugar untill smooth . spread on cookies
