I like the waffle cones so what could be better than to make your own? Experiment with the flavored extract and combine so they will compliment your homemade ice creams.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tblsp. butter, melter and cooled
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. flour,sifted

Directions
  1. You will need a non-stcik cookie sheet and a cone shaped mold to make these cones. If they end up woth a hole in the bottom, plug the hole with a mini-marshmallow.
  2. Preheat oven to 300.
  3. In medium bowl beat the sugar into the egg until it is thickened and pale yellow.
  4. Beat in the butter, vanilla and milk.
  5. Gently stir in the flour.
  6. grease a large non=-stick cookie sheet and spread 1 1/2 tablespoons of the batter into a 6 inch circle using a thin, flexible spatula.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until ightly browned.
  8. Remove from cookie sheet and wrap around a coneshaped mold, sealing the point
  9. The cookies harden as they cool so work as quickly as you can.
