Pasta In A Pot

- 1 lb. lean ground beef shopping list
- 1 medium onion chopped shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 cup purchased spaghetti sauce shopping list
- 1 (8 oz.) can stewed tomatoes shopping list
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 8 ozs. large shell macaroni (about 3 cups) shopping list
- 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream shopping list
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese shopping list
How to make it
- In a large skillet, fry ground beef, onion and garlic until meat is browned.
- Drain off fat.
- Stir in spaghetti sauce, tomatoes and mushrooms.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
- In a 2-qt. casserole layer 1/2 of each of the pasta, the meat sauce, sour cream and cheese.
- Repeat layers.
- bake uncovered, in a 350*oven for 25-30 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
