How to make it

  • Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook steaks until desired doneness.
  • Remove steaks to serving platter and keep warm.
  • Add mushrooms and shallots and cook stirring occasionally until shallots are brown.
  • Stir in vinegar and cook 30 seconds.
  • Add broth and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
  • Stir in cream and simmer 1 minute longer.
  • Serve sauce over steaks and garnish with chopped parsley.
