- 1 Head iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup Diced tomato (seeded)
- 1 Cup Sliced Red Onions (very thin)
- 6 slices of Cooked bacon, chopped.
- 1 Cup Blue Cheese, crumbled. (more if you like)
- Fresh pepper
- Dressing:
- Blue Cheese,Green Goddess (see my recipes) , Thousand Island or
- Your Favorite dressing!
- Chilled Plates
Directions
- Slice a head of iceberg lettuce into quarters through the
- stem end. Cut the stem off of the wedges and arrange each one
- on a chilled plate.
- Spoon dressing over the lettuce. (generous)
- Place the onion slices and blue cheese atop the wedges.
- Sprinkle with the bacon and tomato among the plates.
- Garnish with fresh pepper.

Ahhh, Marky, my husband will want to kiss you! This is his all-time favorite salad, and when I make it at home, I just use the blue cheese dressing without any frills - your recipe takes it several steps higher, and I'm loving your additions to this truly "classic" salad.
