Ingredients

1 Head iceberg lettuce

1 cup Diced tomato (seeded)

1 Cup Sliced Red Onions (very thin)

6 slices of Cooked bacon, chopped.

1 Cup Blue Cheese, crumbled. (more if you like)

Fresh pepper

Dressing:

Blue Cheese,Green Goddess (see my recipes) , Thousand Island or

Your Favorite dressing!

Chilled Plates

Directions

Slice a head of iceberg lettuce into quarters through the

stem end. Cut the stem off of the wedges and arrange each one

on a chilled plate.

Spoon dressing over the lettuce. (generous)

Place the onion slices and blue cheese atop the wedges.

Sprinkle with the bacon and tomato among the plates.

Garnish with fresh pepper.

Ahhh, Marky, my husband will want to kiss you! This is his all-time favorite salad, and when I make it at home, I just use the blue cheese dressing without any frills - your recipe takes it several steps higher, and I'm loving your additions to this truly "classic" salad.
