How to make it

  • Place chopped veggies in a large bowl. Set aside.
  • Whisk together parsley, lemon juice, olive oil, sumac powder, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  • Toss mixture with veggies.
  • Top with feta.

    Good salad for the warmer months when the garden is producing .Sumac was used by the Romans before lemons were introduced throughout the Mediterranean countries from further east ,and I love the flavour .

    I like this very much! I am partial to Middle-Eastern dishes. I can find sumac & any other ingredient for mid-east cuisine, in my town. We have many turkish, arab, palestinian & other middle-easterners in our town. Thanks!
