  • So,, in your prepared pie crust, before you add the pumpkin pie filling
  • ... spread on a thick layer of chocolate hazelnut spread
  • top that with a thin layer of fruit preserved or sliced bananas.
  • Now you do your pumpkin pie filling on top and bake it all as you usually do.
  • I like to spread more Chocolate Hazelnut on top and use a slightly sweetened topping made of sour cream and cream cheese beat together instead of usual whipping cream.
  • This way, I can relax and enjoy my mother's good old plain pumpkin pie too :)
