Ingredients
  • For the crust
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 100g butter, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons iced water
  • Fillings
  • 50g butter
  • 3/4 cup condenced milk
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
  • 4 bananas
  • 2 tablespoon golden syrup

Directions
  1. Sift flour and add butter.
  2. Using finggertips, rub butter until mixture is crumbly.
  3. Add the water and mix to form a dough.
  4. Knead dough and roll pastry to cover base and sides tin. Trim edges.
  5. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven 180C.
  7. Line pastry covered tin with paper and spread a layer of dried beans.
  8. Bake for 10 mins.
  9. Discard paper and beans
  10. Return to oven and bake for 15 mins
  11. To make fillings, combine, butter, condensed milk and golden syrup in a small pan.
  12. Stir over low heat.
  13. Add in nuts.
  14. Slice banana over pastry crust and pour in caramel.
  15. Bake for 15 mins.
  16. Set aside to cool.
