Get that cabbage roll taste without all the fuss. Good old fashioned comfort food. Serve with a salad and some nice crusty bread.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 medium cabbage, shredded
  • 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 2 onions chopped fine
  • 2 tins tomato soup
  • 3/4 tin water
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 cups cooked rice

Directions
  1. Place 1/2 of the cabbage in buttered 9x13" dish
  2. Combine soup with 3/4 tin water, and pour about a fourth of this on the cabbage.
  3. Saute onions and brown the ground beef.
  4. Mix beef ,onions,spices, rice and another fourth of the soup mixture and place on the cabbage.
  5. Top with the rest of the cabbage, and pour on the rest of the soup.
  6. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
