How to make it

  • Saute garlic, onion and oil in a pre-heated wok until onions are transcluscent
  • add ground pork and mix then cover the wok
  • when there is almost no water anymore, add soy sauce and vinegar
  • bring to a boil
  • lower the heat then add the sugar
  • mix until the flavor of the sugar already seeped in and almost starting to caramelize
  • add the eggplants
  • cover the wok until the eggplant is cooked
  • add the laurel leaf
  • serve with steamed rice!
