How to make it

  • Pour the boiling water over the TVP and let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Then combine with the remaining ingredients except the beans. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
  • Add the beans and simmer for an additional 30 minutes.
  • Serve as-is or over rice or pasta.

    TVP has that meaty texture you look for if you are a carnivore or have been one recently.
    All of the fresh garden vegetables and those delicious beans and spices create a full bodied Chile that will certainly hold on to it's title of Champion for many years. High Five Joymarie I like all of those peppers.
