Chocolate Strawberry Cream Pie Recipe

a pie I'm partway through inventing. does anyone have any comments or suggestions?

Ingredients
- a short pie crust with ground nuts
- pastry cream
- chocolate covered strawberries
- mango glaze
Directions
- bake the pie crust until done and crispy; cool
- spread a layer of rich pastry cream or custard on the crust
- place the chocolate covered strawberries on the custard, slightly embedding
- spread mango glaze over all
- chill and serve

Sounds lovely. Check out the chocolate raspberry pie in a nut crust I have posted. I think you may like that crust, too, as a variation. Your idea of the mango glaze sounds quite nice, too.

Thanks! I like that nut crust of yours. Plus just about all the recipes of yours that I've seen so far. You have amazing stats...# of friends, etc. Wow. I'm pretty new so can't imagine that kind of volume. Thanks for the advice and I'll keep an eye on your recipes, too. How do I do that an easy way...ask to be your friend?
