How to make it

  • Combine apple juice and cinnamon stick in a small, deep pot and bring to a boil.
  • Add apple pieces and cook 10 minutes. Drain apples, reserving 2 tbsp juice. Remove cinnamon stick and discard.
  • Reserve one cup of the drained apples, and put the rest into blender with the saved juice, one cup of the yogurt and vanilla.
  • Pulse until mostly pureed. Remove to a bowl and mix in remaining apples and yogurt.
