Creamy Pecan Spread Recipe
Good way to use those Southern pecans. This is served hot, it's easy to make and oh so tasty.

Ingredients
  • 1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1 (1 1/2 oz) jar sliced dried beef, chopped up
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp dehydrated onion flakes
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions
  1. Combine cream cheese, and milk, mixing until well blended.
  2. Stir in dried beef, green pepper, onion flakes, & seasonings: and; mix well.
  3. Fold in sour cream.
  4. Spoon into an 8 inch pie plate.
  5. Heat and crisp pecans in melted butter and salt; sprinkle over cream cheese mixture.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  7. Serve hot with crackers.
