Delicous pound cake amd simple to prepare! Great topped with fresh fruit and icecream!

Ingredients
  • 3 cups of pre-sifted cake flour
  • 1 cup of real butter
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 3 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon extract

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325ºF.
  2. Grease and cake flour tube pan or 2 (8 inch loaf pans).
  3. Cream butter and sugar.
  4. Add eggs one at a time.
  5. Add sour cream, lemon extract flavoring and vanilla.
  6. Sift flour and soda together and add 1/2 cup at a time.
  7. Pour into prepared pans(s) and bake at 325ºF. for 1 1/2 hours.
