Ingredients

1 large (6 oz.) box of lime jello

1 can of pineapple, drained and save the juice

Note: Back in grandmaw's day they only had sliced pineapple and then you had to cut it in chunks. My version is chunk or pineapple tidbits.

1 cup boiling water

cold water

Directions

Put jello in a large glass container.

Stir in 1 cup of boiling water until gelatin is completely dissolved.

Pour juice in 1 cup measuring cup and fill cup with cold water until you have 1 cup.

Pour this in the jello and stir until mixed.

Add pineapple and stir.

Put in refrigerator for 4 hours or longer.

Another note: If you want the pineapple all through you need to keep the jello stirred everyonce in a while until jello starts to set. Mine I just put it in refrigerator until it sets.

My name's sarah haha... I know pineapple prevents jello from setting unless it's cooked first so canned is the only way to go here. Sounds awesome though, will try it for sure!
