Homemade Sunday Rolls

- In small bowl combine the following shopping list
- 2 pkg yeast (2 T) shopping list
- 1 cup warm water shopping list
- 1 t sugar - shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 2/3 cups oil shopping list
- ¾ cup honey shopping list
- 2 t. salt shopping list
- 2 eggs (beaten) shopping list
- 7-8 cups flour shopping list
How to make it
- In small bowl combine the following
- 2 pkg yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 t sugar -
- Let that stand in small bowl until bubbles (5 min)
- In large bowl
- 2 cups milk
- 2/3 cups oil
- ¾ cup honey
- 2 t. salt
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- Mix this together and then add yeast mixture. Add 8 cups flour.
- Start with 7 cups and add kneed in more if needed.
- Kneed bread until smooth (7 min or so)
- If you have a stand mixer....use dough hook...and let it kneed for 5-6 min until dough is smooth!
- Put dough in a large greased bowl
- Microwave 1 cup of water in glass until boiling (2 min)
- Place dough in cool oven and set the cup of water in with it.
- Let rise for 1 hour or so….(until double)
- Shape to the size you wish. Place in greased pans. (shortening)
- I like to use the round cake pans.
- Let rise until double.
- Bake at 400 for 15 min until tops are golden brown.
- (check at 12 min or so depending on size of rolls)
- Makes aprox 4 dozen
- Brush with melted butter - this makes the tops nice!
Shape and size of rolls in a round 9 inch cake pan - greased

Shape dough into balls by squeezing it up into your hand between thumb and index finger
