Watermelon Margaritas

Use a good tequila to steep watermelon chunks in. This watermelon-infused tequila will keep in your refrigerator for a long time. Beautiful in the glass and there is not a strong boozy flavor to this drink. More soft and summery =D
Ingredients
- For the watermelon-Infused Tequila: shopping list
- 1 medium-size seedless watermelon shopping list
- 1 750-ml bottle of silver tequila shopping list
- For the Margarita: shopping list
- 4 oz. of the watermelon-infused tequila (from above) shopping list
- 2 oz. frozen limeade shopping list
- 2 cubes of the infused watermelon (I also add 2 to 4 cubes of fresh watermelon to this) shopping list
- 1 1/2 oz. Cointreau or Grand Marnier shopping list
- watermelon wedges shopping list
How to make it
- For the Infused Tequila: Cut a watermelon into 1-inch cubes (rind removed) until you have roughly 2 lbs. of fruit. Transfer to a glass jar, pour in tequila, seal jar, and let steep for 2 days.
- To Make Drinks: Combine the watermelon-infused tequila, 2 cups crushed ice, frozen limeade, infused watermelon, and Cointreau or Grand Marnier in a blender. Puree until slushy. Garnish with watermelon wedges.
Watermelon slices. . .YUM!
