Smokey Homemade Tacos Recipe

Smokey Homemade Tacos Recipe
I really wanted tacos, but didn't want the same old taste. I think this really hit the nail on the head. My husband says he doesn't want them any other way!

This sounds really good. Can I ask what is "mexican chili powder" and how does it differ from chili powder? Have seen several recipes that call for it. In my neck of the desert(!!!) have not been able to find it. Thanks

It does not have a smokey flavor like "regular" chili powder. It is made from New Mexican red chilis and is the heart of most chili blends.
