Hot Spinach And Cheese Dip Recipe
This is a creamy spinach dip that is so good! I can just eat it as is . Use a crock pot or if a hurry can be cooked in the microwave or on top of the stove. It is addicting!

Ingredients
  • 1 package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and as much water removed as possible(squeeze it)
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 cup sliced green onions
  • 2 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1 can mild Rotel tomatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 oz. cream cheese,softened
  • 2 pounds Velveeta, cubed

Directions
  1. Place butter, spinach, garlic, and green onions in crock pot.
  2. Cook on high heat for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Stir in cream cheese, Rotel, and Velveeta.
  4. Lower heat and cook for 25 to 30 minutes or until Velveeta is melted.
  5. Stir in sour cream and continue to cook on low until ready to eat!
  6. Serve with tortilla chips or corn chips.

Sounds good. Printed recipe and added it to my group recipe cookbook. I am always buying the spinach dip in the jars for three bucks now I can make my own and I know it will taste better. Thanks for the post. Take care Sue
