Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a large bowl combine the burger with the sour cream
  • Form into good size patties; keep them flat and wide
  • Slice the tomatoes and put on paper towels and sprinkle with salt
  • Slice the onions, put on towels, brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt
  • When the burgers are almost ready to serve, heat the broiler
  • Put the tomatoes and onion on sheet pans
  • Put the cheese on the tomatoes and sprinkle the oregano and parsley on top
  • Sprinkle the onions with the parsley and oregano
  • Put under broiler
  • Remove from broiler when the cheese is melting
  • Decorate each burger with the tomato and onion or let the guests serve themselves.
  • The Cheesy, tomatoey, oniony burgers were a hit
  • Along with the usual condiments I also serve Horseradish Cream Sauce
