How to make it

  • In a large saucepan, saute the coleslaw mix, carrots, onions, celery and caraway seeds in a knob of butter for about 5 - 8 minutes until the veggies are still crisp tender and the caraway is fragrant.
  • Add the remaining ingredients.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
