NORTH AFRICAN HAMBURGERS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Aldridge Estate in Garland, Texas in 1984.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ground sirloin
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 teaspoons bread crumbs
  • 1 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup water

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together and form into patties on grill on moderately hot grill.
  2. Serve on pita bread or hamburger bun with your favorite condiments.
